~ About ~

Five kids, one oven, and a whole lot of flour.

Hi, I'm Vickie! Baker, creator, mom of five, and the woman behind Slicks Sweets.

This whole thing started in 2019 when my four-year-old wanted an elaborate mermaid cake and I had absolutely no business saying yes. But there I was on maternity leave with my 3rd baby, in the kitchen, oven preheated to 350, powdered sugar and butter in hand.

“Every order is made from scratch, with real ingredients, by me.”

Before long my countertops were covered in flour, my calendar was filling up with orders, and I had discovered a gift I never knew I had.

These days I'm running Slicks Sweets out of my home as a one woman show, wrangling kids, and custom orders for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and every sweet moment in between.

I believe desserts should be more than beautiful—they should be delicious, memorable, and woven into the moments that matter most.

Thank you for being here, and choosing Slick's Sweets. I can't wait to create something special for you.
